With his recent exploration into film, it should not be forgotten that Mike Mills is one of the more important designers from the 90’s to present day. Back then before directing Thumbsucker some time ago, all through the years Mills has held a dedicated visual design release on MoWax records as well as fashioned the looks of Supreme, Sonic Youth, The Beastie Boys, Beck, X-Girl, and Air amongst others.

Not to mention his Beautiful Losers contribution and his co-creation of The Directors Bureau with Roman Coppola, a multidisciplinary production company that also represents Geoff McFettridge, Shynola, Sofia Coppola and more amazing creative minds and filmmakers. This Graphics Films book is his first comprehensive monograph that documents the bulk of his graphics, artwork, and films. The 176 page hardcover version is now available via Turntable Lab.
