The new Spring/Summer 2009 collection of Woolrich Woolen Mills has recently out, and I have to say that the full collection looks quite promising. Daiki Suzuki, the man behind cult New York label Engineered Garments, is accountable for the direction that eventually led to all these well-constructed pieces within this astounding collection. Woolrich Woolen Mills was founded back in 1830 and has been one of the leading companies of American outerwear, with 2009 marked the beginning of the company’s new direction that focuses on combining premium material with practical outerwear. Deep pocket is a must if you intend to purchase any of the items, but of course with money comes quality. More pics after the jump.

What are the real differences between a chukka boots and a desert boots have really?, is there any distinctive that separates the two..? This question just recently pop in my head, cause let’s face it they are pretty much the same. A chukka boots often reference to a desert boots or the other way around, but in theory there are two distinctions that separate them, the way the upper is stitched to the sole and the use of materials. Chukka boots often being smooth tanned leather, and Desert boots usually being suede or some other sort of lighter, rougher leather(Needlefeed).
Nowadays its even hard to differentiate the two, with so many company taken and reproduced the models in variety of color and materials. Last year we’ve seen a number of great releases of the models, Opening Ceremony deservedly is one of the best when it comes to desert boots, Clarks is always a smart choice and even Red Wing released a pretty decent pair of chukka’s.
Starting of this year, I came across a new collection of footwear called Red Brick Soul which happen to produce a finely crafted chukka boots, along side few other strong models as well. In the end, no matter what the difference I’d say both style of shoes should be in every gentleman’s closet.

i dont know if ur big on furniture’s , but hey this article from 1961 playboy , did sumthin interesting by interview these masters of the furniture’s. i guess little that they know all these guys became the legend of furnitures.i guess after looking at all those nudies the people in playboy….had a good eye for other stuff.

Robin has special memories inside us all. A silly, loving, carying man with lotsa piercing and tattoes that scared people around the world. And that makes us laugh, cause he’s just not that sorta guy!! Seriously, everything to him is just fun and descent. He’s one true metal scenceter and a great drummer, been to the greatest metal festival in Finland and once deported from the US. crazy man…we love him.
I went to New York and saw Decide with Robin few years back. It was a pleasent memory. Because of his diligent journey around the world, visiting Tattoo Seminars in US & Europe, people at the concert often came up to him and pay some respect! For his Ish Kabible shop he also presistently visiting around the world to shop…dedicated man he is!!
