DEADMAU5 TOUCH MIX
Toronto-based producer and DJ Deadmau5 has launched a new DJ app for the iPhone and iPod touch. The DJ application, Deadmau5 Touch Mix, let users to mix, remix and perform using ten exclusive tracks from Deadmau5. With simple, easy to use interface that is designed for creative play, users can adjust BPMs, apply delays, rewind effects and utilize a scratch pad.
Though the concept and features looks good on paper, unfortunately this Touch Mix might only appeal strongly to Deadmau5’ fans, considering the application only comes with Deadmau5 tracks and at the moment it’s not possible to import other music tracks. But then, with a $2.99 price tag at the Apple App. Store, it might just worth the fun of having a portable DJ set on your iPhone or iPod.
